Financial Reform: VICTORY! On June 20, 2010 the House of Representatives passed the financial reform bill by a vote of 237 - 192. On July 15, 2010 the Senate passed the bill by a vote of 60 - 39. The bill creates a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which will protect consumers and small business from predatory financial products and services. |
